The Volpicelli-Daley lab at the University of Alabama at Birmingham is dedicated to understanding Parkinson’s disease and Lewy body dementias. These neurodegenerative diseases impair movement and cognition, seriously impacting the lives of individuals with the disease, as well as family and caregivers.
